Our team are fully qualified to undertake a full range of domestic installations, all covered by an NICEIC Insurance backed warranty and on completion we will supply the relevant NICEIC test certificate.
According to Government statistics, each year on average 10 people die and about 750 are seriously injured in accidents involving unsafe electrical installations in the home. From 1st January 2005 all electrical work in dwellings in England and Wales need to comply with Part P requirements and must be carried out by persons who are competent to do the work. Response Electrical Systems N.W. Ltd are fully qualified to do this - we are the professionals you can trust.
BS7671 (Requirements for Electrical Installations) recommends that domestic installations are inspected every 10 years to ensure compliance with the regulations and that installations are safe to use / fit for purpose.
The consumer unit (Fuseboard) at your property should be clearly labelled and should also display inspection stickers showing the last inspection and date of the next inspection. Socket outlets which might reasonably be expected to supply portable equipment outdoors must also be protected by a 30mA RCD in order to prevent electric shock to users. This also applies to all cables buried in walls below a depth of 50mm, eg. see the image opposite.
